Robust knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal, fabrication, welding, assembly, surface treatment, and inspection.
Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, BOMs, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing specifications.
Knowledge of machining / sheet metal pparameters such as feed, speed, depth of cut, cycle time, and machine-hour costing, forming process.
Exposure to tooling, jigs & fixtures, GSE/GHE, aerospace structures, or precision manufacturing would be advantageous.
Valuable proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost models, calculations, and estimation templates.
Familiarity with CAD tools such as CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, or NX is preferred.
