Responsibilities
Consult with clients on tax returns, tax research, tax communications, and other requested deliverables.
Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and mentoring to the Tax Team.
Build strong client relationships and provide tax planning, consulting, and technical expertise.
Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and engagement timelines.
Communicate proactively with clients and engagement partners regarding project status, client service prospects, and significant matters.
Perform detailed reviews of tax workpapers and tax provision calculations prepared by associates.
Participate in and contribute to business development initiatives and growth strategies.
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
Provide cutting-edge tax planning solutions and review complex income tax returns.
Candidate Specification
Strong client-service orientation with an innate desire to support and serve business owners.
Highly accountable, deadline-driven, and committed to delivering on promises.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Robust problem-solving ability with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
4+ years of relevant public tax accounting experience.
Valid and current CPA license.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with tax accounting software.
