Role & responsibilities
Independently manage Direct Tax advisory, compliance, assessments, appeals, and litigation-related assignments.
Handle complex tax matters and senior-level client interactions.
Lead, mentor, and supervise the team to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Drive business development by generating leads, identifying recent opportunities, attending prospective client meetings, and converting prospects into assignments.
Strengthen existing client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Contribute to the growth and expansion of the Direct Tax practice.

Preferred candidate profile
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
Experience: Minimum 58 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax.
Technical Expertise:



Robust knowledge of Direct Tax advisory, compliance, assessments, appeals, and litigation.
Business Development: Proven ability to generate leads, develop client relationships, and acquire current assignments.
Leadership Skills: Experience in managing teams and handling multiple client assignments independently.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-management skills.
Preferred Background: Candidates from reputed CA firms or tax advisory firms with both technical expertise and business development exposure.
