Manager Accounting & Financial Reporting

Department: Finance

Location: Tamarai Tech Park, Guindy Chennai HO

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

Experience: Minimum 2 years of postqualification experience The role is responsible for managing endtoend accounting operations, financial closing, statutory reporting, and accounting for borrowing instruments, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Closing & Reporting
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with adherence to timelines.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Ind AS / IFRS and statutory requirements.
Ensure accuracy of general ledger, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and journal entries.
Support management and statutory reporting requirements.

Borrowings & Instrument Accounting
Handle accounting for borrowing instruments such as:
Term loans
Working capital facilities
Debentures / bonds
Other debt instruments
Ensure accurate recognition, measurement, interest accounting, and amortization of borrowings.
Maintain loan schedules, covenant compliance, and lender reporting.

Statutory & Audit Support




Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants.
Provide data, explanations, and schedules during audits.
Ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, accounting standards, and internal control frameworks.
Support implementation and strengthening of internal financial controls.
Assist in policy documentation and process improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Liaise with treasury, tax, banking partners, and crossfunctional teams.
Support finance leadership with analysis and decisionmaking inputs.

Desired Skills & Competencies
Solid handson experience in financial closing and reporting
Valuable exposure to borrowing instruments accounting
Sound knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS
Advanced Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred)
High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

NBFC / Corporate Finance /Retail/ Large Corporate Setting (as applicable)
