Manage day-to-day circular knitting plant operations and production planning.
Establish machine-wise production targets and monitor efficiency, utilization and downtime.
Ensure fabric quality, GSM consistency, stitch length and construction specifications.
Identify and reduce knitting defects, yarn waste, fabric rejection and machine stoppages.
Coordinate preventive maintenance, machine settings and technical troubleshooting.
Manage supervisors, operators, shift allocation and manpower productivity.
Develop new fabric qualities and support sampling, trials and commercial production.
Implement SOPs, production reporting, quality systems and 5S practices.
Submit daily production, efficiency, downtime, wastage and quality reports to management.

Preferred candidate profile





Candidate requirements
815 years of relevant textile manufacturing experience preferred.
Solid hands-on experience in circular knitting fabric production.
Experience managing a knitting department, supervisors and operators.
Sound understanding of yarns, gauges, machine diameters, fabric structures and knitting defects.
Positive production planning, troubleshooting and team leadership skills.
Ability to establish systems in a recent or expanding plant.
Diploma or degree in Textile Technology/Knitting Technology preferred.
