Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

STED is looking for an experienced Design Manager with robust technical expertise in interior design, space planning, layouts, drafting, and working drawings. The candidate should have hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software, along with the ability to manage design deliverables and coordinate with project execution teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts, space plans, furniture layouts, and detailed working drawings for commercial interior projects.
Prepare and review floor plans, ceiling layouts, partition drawings, furniture layouts, and construction details.
Ensure accuracy of drawings, measurements, specifications, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with Projects, MEP, 3D Studio, and Procurement teams for design integration and execution requirements.
Conduct site visits, verify measurements, and resolve design-related issues during execution.




Manage and guide interior designers and draftsmen to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and incorporate approved design changes.
Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications & Skills
Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a relevant technical qualification.
8+ years of relevant experience in commercial interiors or interior fit-out projects.
Robust hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of other design and visualization software is preferred.
Positive understanding of space planning, technical drafting, materials, finishes, and interior execution.
Strong team management, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
