Key Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of school buildings, classrooms, laboratories, washrooms, playgrounds and other facilities.
Supervise housekeeping, gardening, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other maintenance activities.
Ensure the safety, cleanliness and functionality of all school infrastructure.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance and facility improvements.
Monitor the maintenance of electrical systems, generators, water supply, CCTV, fire safety equipment and other essential utilities.
Conduct regular campus inspections and ensure timely rectification of identified issues.
Manage facility-related budgets, inventory, maintenance records and vendor bills.
Supervise facility staff and ensure proper duty allocation, attendance and performance.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, fire safety requirements and statutory inspections.
Coordinate arrangements for school events, functions and other institutional activities.
Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of equipment.
Submit regular maintenance reports and updates to the management.
