Role & responsibilities
Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures at the construction site.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and applicable statutory requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
Ensure all workers and staff use appropriate PPE, including safety helmets, safety shoes, reflective jackets, gloves, and safety harnesses.
Monitor proper use of PPE at all times.
Conduct daily safety inspections at the construction site.
Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment reports.
Monitor high-risk activities such as excavation, scaffolding, lifting, and working at heights.
Ensure proper work permits are obtained before starting high-risk activities.

Robust knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Risk assessment and hazard identification.
Accident investigation and reporting.
Positive communication and leadership skills.
Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
Solid observation and problem-solving skills.
