Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
Write, execute, and troubleshoot JCL jobs for batch processing.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Debug programs, identify issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Monitor batch job execution and resolve job failures.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and application enhancements.
Support production issues and ensure smooth application operations.
Work closely with functional teams, technical teams, and stakeholders.
Mandatory Technical Skills
Minimum 4+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
Solid hands-on experience in COBOL and JCL.
Positive knowledge of Mainframe settings.
Experience in batch processing and job scheduling.
Knowledge of debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
Understanding of VSAM and sequential files.
