Job Responsibilities
Read and understand marine piping drawings, isometric drawings and P&ID; diagrams.
Fabricate, install, assemble and repair various types of shipboard piping systems.
Perform pipe cutting, grinding, beveling, bending and fitting as per drawings.
Install and align pipes, valves, flanges, fittings and supports.
Work with different pipe materials, including MS, SS, GI and copper pipes.
Perform pipe fitting for hydraulic, fuel, cooling water, ballast, bilge, fire-fighting and other marine systems.
Coordinate with welders and supervisors during piping installation.
Ensure proper alignment, measurements and joint preparation before welding.
Assist in pressure testing, leak testing and inspection activities.
Follow shipyard safety procedures and maintain valuable housekeeping.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
