About the role You will test web and mobile applications, write test cases, and start automating them with guidance from senior engineers.
What you will do
Write and run test cases for new features
Log defects with explicit steps and evidence
Write and maintain basic automated tests
Take part in regression testing before each release
What you will need
1–3 years in software testing
Positive understanding of test design and the defect life cycle
Basic programming in Python, Java, C# or JavaScript
Web application testing
Positive to have
Playwright or Selenium
Using GenAI prompts or AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot to generate test data or draft first-cut test cases
Mobile app testing
ISTQB Foundation
Education B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or a related field, or MCA
