We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with robust expertise in Oracle Database Administration and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. The candidate should have hands-on experience in database installation, configuration, migration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer Oracle databases in production and non-production settings.
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.
Monitor database performance and perform SQL and query tuning.
Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and database high availability.
Administer Azure Database for PostgreSQL services.
Configure PostgreSQL instances, security, access controls, and connectivity.
Perform database migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL or Azure PostgreSQL.
Monitor database performance, resource utilization, and availability.
Troubleshoot database issues and resolve production incidents.
Implement database security, patching, and compliance practices.
Automate database administration activities using scripting.
