Core Responsibilities
Extraction &
Removal:

Safely cut, split, and extract damaged, fouled, or corroded tubes from high-pressure heat exchangers and boilers using specialized hydraulic tube pullers, internal tube cutters, and pneumatic spears.
Tube Sheet Restoration: Clean, ream, brush, and micrometer-measure tube sheet holes and grooving to ensure exact tolerances before recent tube installation.
Installation &
Expansion:

Bundle, feed, and fit new tubes (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, copper-nickel, titanium) through baffles and expand them into tube sheets using electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic tube-rolling equipment to exact torque specifications.
Joint Integrity &
Welding:

Assist code welders with tube-to-tube-sheet seal welds or strength welds, performing post-weld joint dressing and inspections.
Testing &
Leak Detection:

Set up and execute hydrostatic (hydro), pneumatic,



and bubble tests to verify the integrity of expanded or plugged tubes under strict pressure guidelines.
Turnaround Rigging &
Lifting:

Perform basic rigging, hoisting, and alignment of heavy exchanger bundles, components, and specialized retubing rigs.
Refinery Safety Adherence: Operate strictly under Hot/Cold Work Permits, Confined Space Entry protocols, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) isolation procedures to maintain a zero-incident record.

Required Qualifications &
Technical Skills
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of direct maintenance experience inside an oil refinery, petrochemical plant, or gas processing facility.
Physical Demands: Physically fit to work in confined spaces, at heights on scaffolding, and under extreme weather conditions while wearing full PPE (including respiratory equipment if required).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
