Job Purpose:
Responsible and accountable for ensuring on time sourcing, commodity buyer, commodity leads, commercial finalization and Part development as per timelines in close co-ordination with cross functional team
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Supplier Identification for various commodities Castings, Forgings, Plastics
RFQ Management
Do costing of parts in order to arrive @ accurate level of estimation.
Purchase Order Processing
New Parts Development for Quicker realization.
Contain the project / program material cost at optimum level.
Achieve material cost reduction year on year through negotiation, alternate sourcing, VA/VE & localization
Track and manage copper & aluminum Price Variation Clause Revisions
Keep track of Other commodities (Steel, Plastics & Rubber) for Price Movements
10.To handle global suppliers across all regions 11.Handle audits (external & internal) including QMS & EMS
12.Other duties assigned by management.
