We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior VMC Machinist to join our machine shop floor. Unlike standard production roles, this position is entirely focused on manufacturing non-standard, highly precise components for industrial machinery, robotics, and specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who can interpret complex engineering drawings, independently set up Vertical Machining Centers (such as BFW or Haas), and execute precision cuts for one-off or small-batch custom parts.
Your Daily Work:
Read Drawings: Look at the part drawing and understand the sizes clearly.
Set up the Machine: Clamp the job, set the zero, and set tool offsets by yourself without anyone's help.
Make the Part: Run the machine to make special parts (1 or 2 pieces per design).
Check the Quality: Use vernier calipers,
micrometers, and bore gauges to check if the sizes are exactly correct.
Edit Programs: Make small changes to the G-code directly on the machine control panel.
What We Need From You:
4 to 5 years of experience in VMC operating and setting.
Education: 10th Pass, 12th Pass, ITI, or Diploma.
You must have experience making recent, different parts (not just pressing the start button for production work).
Positive knowledge of measuring tools.
