Your future duties and responsibilities
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs using FastAPI for high-performance backend services.
- Work extensively with data structures (lists, tuples, dictionaries, sets) for productive data processing.
- Perform data analysis and manipulation using Pandas, NumPy, and DataFrames.
- Implement file handling solutions for PDF, CSV, Excel, Word, and other structured/unstructured formats.
- Develop data visualization components using Matplotlib for reporting and insights.
- Integrate AWS services such as S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Lambda to build scalable and serverless solutions.
- Use Boto3 for AWS service automation and cloud resource management.
- Design and implement AI-powered features leveraging OpenAI APIs and large language models.
- Build intelligent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and Pydantic AI.
- Integrate and fine-tune LLMs such as ChatGPT-5, Claude Sonnet 4.5, and AWS Nova for enterprise use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and cloud architects.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and enforcing coding standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills:
- Over 5+ years of experience in API development (FastAPI is a plus) with Python and AWS, including:
- Knowledge and experience with React.js for frontend development is a plus.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration utilizing Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
- Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS(PostgreSQL),
Elasticache, SQS, SNS, and Lambda.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Good experience with SQL and NoSQL(MongoDB/MongoDB Atlas).
- Understanding of event-driven and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Robust problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively engaging with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with IBM Spectrum Conductor is an added advantage.
- Python utilities like interacting with FLASK API, Sharepoint API is an added advantage.
