Job Title : Secondary Coordinator Location : GIIS Balewadi Programme : (Grades 9-12)

Role Overview

The Secondary Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the academic and co-curricular programmes for Grades 9-12 under the CBSE curriculum. This role involves leading teachers, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, fostering innovative teaching practices, and creating a nurturing environment for holistic student development.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide academic leadership in implementing the CBSE
- Mentor and support teachers to ensure effective lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management.
- Monitor curriculum delivery, assessments, and reporting in alignment with CBSE standards.
- Organize and lead professional development programmes for faculty.
- Ensure effective communication between teachers, students, parents, and school leadership.
- Coordinate school events, assemblies, parent meetings, and other academic activities.
- Regularly review student performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
- Uphold the school’s vision, mission, and values while promoting a positive and inclusive learning culture.




- Ensure compliance with Cambridge International policies and academic quality benchmarks.

Qualifications & Skills

- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in CBSE schools.
- Prior experience in leadership, coordination, or supervisory roles is desirable.
- Robust understanding of CBSE Curriculum framework and assessment methodology.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a team of teachers effectively.
