Job Title: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Accountancy & Commerce

1. Key Responsibilities : Academic Delivery : Accountancy :

- Accounting for Partnership Firms
- Accounting for Companies (Issue of Shares & Debentures)
- Financial Statements and Analysis
- Cash Flow Statement
- Accounting Ratios
- Non-Profit Organizations

Commerce (as applicable) :

- Business Studies (Principles of Management, Marketing, Financial Management, Consumer Protection)
- Economics (Micro & Macro Economics - where required)

Ensure clarity in accounting procedures, logical understanding of financial concepts, and accuracy in numerical problem-solving.

Board Examination Preparation :

- Design chapter-wise tests, assignments, case-study-based assessments, and practice worksheets aligned with the latest CBSE Sample Papers and Marking Schemes.
- Conduct periodic assessments, Pre-Board examinations, and structured revision sessions.
- Train students in answer-writing techniques, presentation skills, and time management strategies specific to Board exams.

Practical & Project Work Guidance :

- Guide students in preparing Accountancy and Business Studies projects as per CBSE guidelines.
- Ensure originality, structured documentation, and readiness for viva voce examinations.
- Monitor internal assessment records and maintain accurate academic documentation.

Academic Planning & Mentorship :

- Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, and learning outcomes in line with CBSE academic calendar.
- Provide remedial support for academically weaker students and enrichment opportunities for high achievers.
- Mentor students for commerce-related competitive pathways (e.g., CA Foundation, CUET - where applicable).

ICT Integration & Innovation :

- Incorporate digital tools, financial software demonstrations (where feasible), spreadsheets (MS Excel), presentations,



and LMS platforms to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Use real-life business case studies and current economic developments to make learning practical and relevant.

2. Eligibility Criteria : Education : Master’s Degree (M.Com) in Accountancy / Commerce with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

Professional Degree : Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the Senior Secondary level (Classes 11-12), preferably in CBSE-affiliated schools.

Language Proficiency : Excellent command and fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

3. Essential Skills : Subject Expertise :

- Robust command over accounting principles, financial analysis, company accounts, and business management concepts.
- Ability to simplify complex financial adjustments and ensure numerical accuracy.

Analytical & Numerical Proficiency :

- Strong analytical skills for financial statement interpretation and ratio analysis.
- Ability to train students in logical presentation and step-wise solution writing.

Assessment & Result Orientation :

- Experience in evaluating answer scripts as per CBSE marking scheme.
- Capability to analyze performance data and implement targeted improvement strategies.

Classroom Management :

- Ability to maintain a disciplined, academically focused, and interactive learning environment for senior students (ages 16-18).

4. Desirable Qualifications : CTET/TET : Valid CTET Paper-II or State TET qualification will be an added advantage.

Digital Proficiency :

- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling basics, presentation tools, and LMS platforms (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams).
- Exposure to case-based and experiential learning methodologies in commerce education will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
