To support and execute global sourcing and procurement activities for raw materials, APIs, excipients, packaging materials. The role is responsible for supplier development, cost optimization, procurement planning.
Location: Mumbai/Gurugram
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production and project requirements.
- Coordinate with planning and inventory teams to maintain optimum stock levels.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply agreements
- Obtain quotations, conduct commercial evaluations, and prepare comparative analyses.
- Support sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
- Develop alternate and backup sources for critical materials.
- Follow up with suppliers on order execution and resolve supply-related issues.
- Support supplier qualification and onboarding activities.
- Maintain robust relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery.
- Monitor market and commodity trends affecting material prices.
- Assist in budget control and procurement efficiency initiatives

Education
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain,
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations is desirable
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain functions
- Exposure to international sourcing & Procurement
