As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release cycles, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works closely with various teams to align solutions with organizational goals, utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to maintain compatibility and optimize functionality. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of applications are key to sustaining seamless operations and delivering value to end users. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure timely delivery of application updates and enhancements.- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.- Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle ADF.- Experience in developing and maintaining user interface components using Oracle Application Development Framework.- Robust understanding of web technologies including Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS as they relate to Oracle ADF.- Ability to work with APIs and integrate third-party services within packaged or SaaS applications.- Familiarity with low-code platforms and tools to customize and extend application functionality.- Knowledge of application lifecycle management, including version control and release management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle ADF.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
