Description
The Executive – Production will oversee the smooth functioning of Varun Beverages' beverage manufacturing lines, including PET blowing, filling, labeling, packing and utilities. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role ensures production targets, quality standards, OEE, and compliance with GMP, HACCP and company SOPs are met, while coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and EHS teams.

Responsibilities

- Manage day‑to‑day production operations according to the production plan.
- Operate and monitor beverage lines (PET blowing, filling, labeling, packing, utilities).
- Achieve production targets, maintain quality standards and line efficiency.
- Track OEE, downtime, wastage and productivity; drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and EHS teams for seamless workflow.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety regulations and company SOPs.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports and MIS data.




- Identify production losses and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen).
- Deploy manpower effectively and manage shift schedules.
- Handle equipment breakdowns and liaise with maintenance for rapid restoration.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Industrial or Food Engineering or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in carbonated soft drinks, packaged water, juice or FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety standards.
- Proficiency in SAP and production planning tools.
- Hands‑on experience with OEE monitoring and improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to implement 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Effective manpower and shift management capabilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to work in a quick‑paced, shift‑based environment.
