Responsible for ensuring all aspect of Security and Administration of the Sites & Security Team (including Dog Squad)

Role:

- Define Systems and Processes related to Security (and its related Administration and ensure continuous monitoring and review of the same in order to plug any loop holes in the system.
- Researches and deploys state-of-the-art technology solutions, creative security management techniques and develop standards.
- Develop procedures to ensure physical safety of occupants, employees and visitors.
- Maintain relationships with local police and state law enforcement and other related government agencies.
- Develop emergency procedures and incident responses.
- Analysis potential Threat and weak points’ analysis.
- Provision for controlled and monitored site evacuation.
- Develop suitable Security intelligence network to gather and collate information in surrounding area and take proactive measures to curb possible threat to security of the site and its assets.
- Ensure all Security related Equipment including electronic surveillance system are in place and operational so as to prevent occurrence of theft, sabotage, accident etc.
- Ensure continuous surveillance on the activities of the Occupants, Visitors etc. in order to pre-empt / curb any incident of pilferage / accidents and control nefarious activities in and around the buildings.
- Ensure regular training of the Security personnel for enhancing their skills and sustain the standards of Security system.
- Ensuring that no encroachment take place around the Unit.
- Deployment of Security personnel’s for different areas on the basis of technical evaluation of the competency of the security agency and the man power deployment.
- Evaluation of the security system, its up-gradation and surprise checks in the unit.
- Liaison with Govt. Officials, Local Police, Local Administration, etc.,



to achieve harmonious relations at all locations.
- Pactice firefighting drills through regular exercises, mock drills, wet drills and train security staff in their actions as part of the Unit Disaster Management Plan. Also ensure maintenance of Fire Fighting equipment and its timely demonstration to prevent/ minimize losses due to fire

Responsibilities :

- Security of the Farm Site
- Its Assets (Movable & immovable)
- All personnel whilst they are inside the premises.
- Visitor Entry Management (Daily / Contractual / Casual / VIP or any other category)
- Dog Squad Management
- Coordinating Relief plan of Security Personnel with the Outsourced Security Vendor Supervisor
- Ratification of the Attendance sent by the Vendor to HQ for release of Salary payments of Security Personnel

Work allocation:

- Devise a Comprehensive Security Plan, to cover all aspects of
- Unauthorized Ingress prevention,
- Pilferage,
- Attendance of Staff, Outsourced Security Staff, Others
- Integrity of Perimeter Fence
- Rostering of Security Staff
- Assess and deploy gunmen as per daily requirement fluctuations
- Manage the Dog Squad, along with the Administrative aspects of the Dog Master, Dog Handler and all Dogs. This will include a plan to set duties for Dogs for security purposes.

- Will Operationalize the Security Plan under his own supervision
- Monitor regular day and night checks for Security related matters.
- Carry out Training of Local Staff on best usage of Walkie Talkie sets – to include Radio Telephony Procedure (RT Procedure).
- Tender regular Security updates to GM at DSHQ.

Qualifications / Experience:

- Graduate / Post Graduate
- Preferable (Not compulsory) Ex-Army Commissioned Officer or CPP qualified
- 05 - 24 years’ experience of working
- Knowledge of entire process for Security & Security administration
