We are looking for an experienced Senior AEM Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 On-Premise, particularly in AEM Forms and enterprise document-processing solutions.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in AEM development, XDP/XFA-based forms, PDF generation, document processing, backend integrations, and performance optimization. The candidate must be capable of independently developing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise-grade AEM solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Overall Experience

- 5+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development.
- Strong hands-on experience with AEM 6.5 On-Premise development, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience in AEM Forms and enterprise document-processing solutions.

2. AEM Core Development

Strong working knowledge of:

- AEM Sites and Digital Asset Management (DAM).
- Apache Sling and Sling Models.
- OSGi Framework and services.
- JCR / Apache Jackrabbit Oak.
- HTL (Sightly).
- Touch UI, Granite UI, and Coral UI.
- AEM Workflows.
- Service Users and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
- Content Fragments and Experience Fragments.

3. AEM Forms & Document Processing

Hands-on experience with AEM Forms and Document Services, including:

- XDP templates and XFA-based forms.
- PDF and dynamic PDF generation using XDP templates and XML data.
- XDP/XML data mapping, merging, and transformation.
- PDF manipulation, merging, splitting, and document assembly.
- PDF/A conversion and document transformation.
- AEM Forms Output Service, Forms Service, and Assembler Service.
- Document Services APIs.




- XDP template development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- AEM Forms Workbench processes, where applicable.
- Batch and programmatic document generation.
- Integration of AEM Forms services with Java/OSGi applications.
- REST/SOAP-based Forms service integrations.

4. Java Development & Enterprise Integration

- Experience developing Java-based OSGi services, servlets, workflows, and schedulers.
- Strong understanding of backend development and enterprise application integrations.
- Experience with XML/XDP data mapping, transformation, validation, and processing.
- Experience integrating AEM Forms with enterprise backend systems and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Ability to develop document-generation solutions for business documents, forms, statements, letters, and PDFs.

5. Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization

- Ability to troubleshoot complex AEM Forms and document-processing issues, including:
- XDP rendering issues and missing fonts.
- PDF generation failures.
- Forms service exceptions.
- OSGi dependency and Java class-loading issues.
- Experience in AEM system tuning and performance optimization.
- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to independently resolve complex technical challenges.

Dispatcher, Security & Infrastructure

- Strong experience with Apache HTTP Server and AEM Dispatcher.
- Hands-on knowledge of Dispatcher filters, caching, redirects, rewrite rules, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of AEM security, including service users, ACLs, authentication, authorization, and permissions.
- Experience implementing secure access to AEM Forms and document-processing services.

7. Build, Deployment & Release Management

- Robust knowledge of Maven and Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Understanding of enterprise release management.
- Experience supporting deployments, production releases, and troubleshooting across enterprise environments.

- Design, develop, and implement scalable AEM Forms and XDP/PDF-based document-generation solutions.
