Summary
We are looking for a Senior Service Now Sec Ops Technical Consultant to design, configure and implement Service Now Security Operations solutions. You will build and customise Sec Ops modules, integrate Service Now with security tools, and make sure the platform supports the client’s security operations effectively.

⚠️ Must Have: Hands-on technical implementation experience with Service Now Sec Ops (Security Incident Response and/or Vulnerability Response). Onsite in Dubai.

Responsibilities

- Design, configure and implement Service Now Sec Ops modules: Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), Configuration Compliance and Threat Intelligence.
- Develop customisations using Java Script, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Flow Designer.
- Build and maintain integrations with security tools: SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) and EDR (Crowd Strike, Microsoft Defender).
- Configure security playbooks, workflows, assignment rules, SLAs and automated response actions.
- Make sure the CMDB is properly set up and populated to support vulnerability and incident correlation.
- Build dashboards, Performance Analytics and reports for security operations.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs with Business Analysts.
- Support testing, deployment,



upgrades and post-go-live support.
- Follow Service Now best practices for performance, security and upgradeability.
- Mentor junior developers and create technical documentation.

Requirements

Requirements

- 6+ years of Service Now development/implementation experience.
- Must: Hands-on implementation experience with Service Now Sec Ops (SIR and/or VR).
- Strong Service Now scripting skills: Java Script, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts.
- Experience with Integration Hub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server and security integration spokes/plugins.
- Valuable knowledge of the CMDB and its role in Sec Ops.
- Understanding of security operations: incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence.
- Experience integrating Service Now with SIEM, vulnerability scanners and EDR tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.

Nice to Have

- Service Now certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS – Security Incident Response, CIS – Vulnerability Response.
- Experience with Security Posture Control, Configuration Compliance or Threat Intelligence.
- Security certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP).
- Experience in banking, government or other regulated sectors in the UAE/GCC.
