Join the Front Office team at Mantra at Sharks, our 120 room hotel in Southport. We’re looking for a Guest Service Agent who enjoys overnight work, takes ownership of their shift and wants to build the skills to step into a Duty Manager or Night Manager role over time.

You’ll be the friendly face welcoming late arrivals, helping guests with overnight requests and making sure the morning team has a clear handover. If you enjoy the independence of a night shift and the variety that comes with it, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

- Welcome guests, handle late check ins and assist with early departures.
- Respond to guest requests and resolve issues calmly, escalating when needed.
- Complete night audit, daily reconciliations and overnight reporting.
- Follow hotel safety and security procedures and keep clear records of any incidents.
- Give the morning team a thorough handover so they can pick up where you left off.

What you’ll bring

- Experience in hotel reception,



front office or a similar guest service role.
- A genuine preference for overnight shifts and availability to work weekends and public holidays as rostered.
- Friendly and engaging individual who prioritises customer service.
- Sound judgement, attention to detail and the confidence to work independently.
- Experience with Opera Cloud or another hotel property management system is an advantage.
- An interest in learning how to run a shift and take on more responsibility.
