About the Company

Hospifirst Solutions Private Limited is a growing business engaged in manufacturing and trading of hospitality products, including hotel linen, bedding, bath linen and other hospitality essentials.

We are in the process of implementing Odoo ERP to manage our accounting, inventory, purchasing, sales, manufacturing and overall business operations through an integrated system.

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Accountant who is interested in learning new technologies and growing with the organisation.

Job Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
- Maintain customer, supplier and bank ledgers.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.

2. GST & Taxation

- Handle GST-related accounting and documentation.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Reconcile purchase data with GSTR-2B.
- Assist with TDS calculations, deductions and returns.
- Maintain proper records for statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with external CA and tax consultants whenever required.

3. Odoo ERP Management

- Learn and work extensively on Odoo ERP for daily accounting operations.
- Manage accounting entries, invoices, payments and reconciliations in Odoo.
- Understand and maintain proper accounting workflows within the ERP.
- Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.
- Assist in ERP implementation, testing, data verification and process improvement.
- Coordinate with the implementation team to resolve accounting-related issues.

4. Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting

- Understand the accounting treatment of inventory purchases and sales.
- Coordinate with purchase, sales, warehouse and production departments.
- Assist in tracking inventory valuation, stock adjustments and cost of goods sold.
- Understand manufacturing costs, raw materials,



finished goods and production expenses.
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting of inventory-related transactions.

5. Financial Reporting

- Assist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Maintain expense records and monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Prepare basic financial reports and management information.
- Assist in monthly closing and reconciliation activities.

What We Are Looking For

We are more interested in the candidate's ability to learn, understand processes and take responsibility than in experience with a particular ERP software.

Essential Requirements:

- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Familiarity with Tally or any accounting software.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS and statutory accounting.
- Ability to understand new software and business processes quickly.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting entries.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Most Important: Learning Attitude & Adaptability

Experience with Odoo ERP is preferred but not essential. Candidates with experience in Tally, Busy, Zoho Books or other accounting software are encouraged to apply, provided they have a strong willingness and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Therefore, prior Odoo experience is NOT mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

- Previous experience working with Odoo ERP.
- Experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books or other accounting software.
- Exposure to manufacturing or trading business accounting.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting.
- Experience with GST reconciliation and monthly financial closing.
