Responsible for conducting and supervising science laboratory activities, assisting students with practical experiments, and ensuring the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical science experiments for students.
- Assist students in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratory activities.
- Demonstrate scientific experiments and practical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials.
- Ensure laboratory safety rules and proper use of equipment.
- Maintain laboratory registers, stock records, and experiment records.
- Monitor students during practical sessions.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Report damaged equipment and maintain inventory.
- Support science teachers in practical classes and projects.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) or relevant subject.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices.
- Relevant laboratory training or experience preferred.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of scientific experiments and equipment.
- Practical laboratory management skills.
- Basic first-aid and safety knowledge.
- Valuable communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to guide and supervise students.
Experience
1–3 years of laboratory or teaching experience preferred. Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
