Job Title: Housekeeping Staff / Housekeeping Associate

1. Job Purpose

To maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of the premises by ensuring all assigned areas are clean, organized, and maintained according to the organization's housekeeping standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain floors, rooms, offices, corridors, washrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas regularly.
- Clean and disinfect toilets, washbasins, mirrors, and other sanitary facilities.
- Collect and dispose of waste according to prescribed procedures.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies such as soap, tissues, toiletries, and cleaning materials.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, and other surfaces.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper hygiene and follow workplace safety standards.
- Assist with housekeeping requirements during special events or additional cleaning activities.
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Follow the daily cleaning schedule and instructions given by the supervisor.

3. Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum qualification:



Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and cleaning materials.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.

- Display warning signs when cleaning wet floors.
- Maintain personal hygiene and a neat appearance.

6. Performance Expectations

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas.
- Complete daily cleaning tasks within the stipulated time.
- Ensure availability of housekeeping supplies.
- Minimize complaints related to cleanliness.
- Follow instructions and reporting procedures.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
