About TorqWars

TorqWars is building India's competitive RC racing. We are a sports-entertainment business running on three engines: experience-led arenas with timed racing, a league, and a D2C store for RC cars and parts. Our first arena opens soon in Bandra, Mumbai, and we are backed by The Foundery. You will be part of the founding team that runs our first arena.

Role overview

You will run day-to-day floor operations at our RC racing arena in Bandra: staff, customers, equipment and in-store sales during each shift. You will report to the Head of Arena Operations. Before launch, you will help with set-up, stock receiving, staff training and trial runs.

Key responsibilities

- Run shift operations from opening to closing.
- Manage rosters, attendance, training and performance of game marshals, hosts and front desk staff.
- Conduct safety briefings, manage battery charging and keep the incident log.
- Coordinate with technicians on track and car maintenance.
- Handle retail billing, stock counts, the daily sales report and cash closing.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints on the floor.
- Coordinate with our café partner.

KPIs

Equipment uptime, footfall and daily sales, customer ratings and safety record.

Requirements

- 2+ years as a floor, shift or store manager or supervisor at an FEC, gaming zone, multiplex or retail store.
- Has led a frontline team through weekends and peak days.
- Experience with POS billing,



stock management and cash handling.
- Experience with safety procedures and incident handling in a public venue.

Good to have

Go-karting or amusement park operations. Basic knowledge of electronics and batteries. Has run an outlet or café.

How we assess

A quick AI voice interview with your camera on (about 20 minutes): a packed weekend, a staff no-show, a cash mismatch at closing, a safety incident, and what your last manager would say about you. No RC knowledge is needed; we train you on the cars and the sport. We speak to references before any offer.

Your first 90 days

Opening and closing checklists running every shift, the first marshals and hosts trained and rostered, and a daily sales, uptime and incident report in place.

What we offer

A founding role at a current arena, training on RC racing equipment, and growth into arena management as we open more locations.

On-site at our Bandra arena, Mumbai (shift-based).

Hiring process

A short AI interview, a call with the Head of Arena Operations, a short assignment for shortlisted candidates, a site visit in Bandra with reference checks, and an offer within 1 week of the first call.
