Position: Merchandiser - Denim Appare

lExperience: 3 to 5 years in a mid-to-large-sized apparel manufacturing/export firm

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Apparel Merchandising or Textiles from a recognized institute

Location: Udyog Vihar, Gurugram

ObjectiveWe are looking for a skilled Merchandiser to manage end-to-end order execution for denim apparel. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design, sampling, and production, ensuring high-quality output, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to international retail clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Sampling Lifecycle: Oversee the entire sampling process, including fabric and trim sourcing, placement of sampling programs, and rigorous follow-up on Proto, Fit, Size Set, and PP samples.
- Production Coordination: Maintain strong coordination with production and quality teams to ensure bulk output meets technical specifications and buyer standards.
- Documentation & Systems: Maintain complete records of tech packs and order status in the ERP system. Experience working with Brand Portals is essential.
- Costing & Negotiation:



Perform accurate costings and margin analysis; negotiate pricing with vendors to ensure project profitability.
- Timeline Management: Create and monitor Time & Action (T&A;) calendars to ensure strict adherence to delivery deadlines.
- Technical Denim Knowledge: Apply technical understanding of denim manufacturing, particularly wash development and laundry processes, to troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Communication: Act as a key point of contact for retail clients, ensuring transparent, proactive updates on development and production status.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of denim fabrics, wash treatments, and laundry processes.
- Proven experience in handling mid-to-large-scale accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, GTN, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills, with a self-driven and problem-solving mindset.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
