A City Head in a logistics company is responsible for managing all business operations within a particular city. The role includes handling station operations, delivery performance, manpower, customer satisfaction, revenue, and overall business growth.

1. Roles and Responsibilities

1. City Operations Management

- Manage and monitor all station operations across the assigned city.
- Ensure smooth pickup, delivery, and transportation activities.
- Monitor daily operational performance of all stations.
- Ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Resolve operational issues and escalations.

2. Team and Manpower Management

- Manage Station Managers, Shift In-charges, Delivery Executives, and other operational staff.
- Ensure proper manpower availability at all stations.
- Monitor employee attendance, working hours, and productivity.
- Coordinate with the HR team for recruitment and manpower requirements.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

3. Business Development and Revenue

- Achieve city-level business targets and revenue goals.
- Identify opportunities to increase business volume.
- Control operational costs and improve profitability.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly business performance.
- Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency.

4. Delivery and Performance Management

- Monitor daily delivery and pickup performance.




- Maintain high delivery success rates.
- Reduce shipment delays, cancellations, and failed deliveries.
- Track pending, undelivered, and return shipments.
- Ensure proper handling of shipments.

5. Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain valuable relationships with clients and business partners.
- Handle major customer complaints and escalations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Coordinate with clients to resolve operational challenges.

6. Compliance and Loss Prevention

- Ensure all stations follow company policies and procedures.
- Monitor shipment loss, theft, damage, and fraud cases.
- Ensure proper security and CCTV monitoring.
- Maintain operational records and documentation.
- Take corrective action to prevent operational losses.

7. Reporting and MIS

- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track station-wise performance and productivity.
- Monitor attendance, manpower, delivery, and revenue reports.
- Share performance updates with senior management.
- Take necessary action based on MIS reports.

8. Leadership and Coordination

- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Admin, Fleet, and Operations teams.
- Guide and motivate station teams.
- Conduct regular station visits and performance reviews.
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions.
- Report directly to the Regional Head or Operations Head.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
