We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team. This role is ideal for a fresher or early-career qualified who is eager to build a career in financial accounting within the insurance broking industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing MIS reports, and supporting the sales team with accurate commission and payout information.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Operations
- Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain accounting records and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Generate periodic financial and business performance reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management.
Sales Support & Commission Management
- Coordinate with sales teams regarding commission and payout updates.
- Maintain accurate commission calculations and payout records.
- Resolve payout-related queries from sales personnel.
- Ensure timely communication of commission statements.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
- Support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in audit and verification activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- 0.6-2 years Experience.
- Prior internship or project experience in accounts/finance will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
