Role Description*

nThis is a full-time, in office role for an Area Sales Manager based in the Greater Chennai Area.n

The Area Sales

nManager will oversee and drive the sales performance of products and services across the assigned region by leading a team and managing customer relationships.n

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, strategizing to increase market share, monitoring sales activities, mentoring team members,



identifying recent business opportunities, and ensuring adherence to bank policies and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications*
Strong sales skills including negotiation, customer acquisition, and market understanding
Leadership and team management skills, including mentoring and performance optimization
Proficiency in sales strategy development, planning, and execution
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Experience in customer relationship management and identifying business opportunities
Knowledge of banking and financial products relevant to Retail, Corporate, MSME, and Agricultural sectors
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred
Familiarity with the Greater Chennai Area market is an advantage
