Job Opening: Quality Documentation Engineer (CNC Machine Shop)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Quality Documentation Engineer to manage and maintain all quality-related documentation in our CNC machine shop. The candidate will ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards across manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain quality documents such as:
- Control Plans
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis)
- Inspection Reports & Quality Records
- Handle PPAP documentation (Production Part Approval Process) submissions
- Maintain ISO documentation (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949)
- Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for document updates
- Ensure proper version control and document traceability
- Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
- Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure CNC machined components meet drawing and specification requirements




- Manage customer quality documentation and submissions

Requirements:

- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in CNC machine shop quality documentation
- Strong knowledge of:
- CNC machining processes
- Engineering drawings & GD&T;
- Quality tools (PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, 7 QC tools)
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001 / IATF preferred)
- Positive computer skills (MS Excel, Word, documentation tools)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in automotive or precision machining industry
- Knowledge of customer-specific requirements
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM)
