Job Description: CNC Production Planning & Control*
Location: Arasur-Coimbatore*
Position Overview*

nWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planning & Control Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling CNC production activities to ensure timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards.n
Key Responsibilities*
Production Planning & Scheduling*
Develop and implement CNC production schedules based on customer orders and capacity.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and quality teams to align production timelines.
Optimize machine loading and manpower allocation.
Process Control & Monitoring*
Track daily CNC production output and ensure adherence to planned schedules.
Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Maintain records of production performance and efficiency.
Resource Management*
Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, and fixtures for CNC operations.
Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with the maintenance team.
Monitor tool life and recommend replacements to avoid production delays.
Quality Assurance*




Work closely with the QA team to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring quality issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in CNC machining processes.
Reporting & Documentation*
Prepare daily/weekly production reports for management review.
Maintain documentation related to production planning, work orders, and process changes.
Support audits and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills*
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in CNC machining production planning and control.
Solid knowledge of CNC machines, tooling, and machining processes.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Valuable communication and organizational skills.
