Our mission is to foster curiosity and a love for science, empowering the next generation of space enthusiasts.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Astronomy Educator based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Astronomy Educator will be responsible for delivering engaging astronomy education programs, organizing interactive workshops, designing lesson plans, and conducting hands-on activities.



The educator will facilitate learning using portable planetariums, astronomy labs, and DIY kits to inspire students and foster interest in space science. Collaboration with schools and other learning communities is a vital aspect of the role, along with adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.QualificationsProficiency in Lesson Planning and Education techniques to create and deliver engaging learning experiencesStrong Communication and Teaching skills to effectively connect with young learners and diverse audiencesExperience in Training and facilitating workshops or hands-on activitiesA passion for astronomy, science education, and outreach activitiesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt teaching style to different learning levelsBachelor's degree in Education, Astronomy, Science, or a related field is preferredPrior experience in science education or outreach roles is a plus
