Position: Manager – Production Quality

Reporting to: Production Head

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Quality Manager to lead comprehensive quality assurance, quality control, and production operations for our nutraceutical and dietary supplement products across multiple manufacturing facilities. The candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, GMP/cGMP requirements, product quality specifications, and food safety systems across manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution processes.

The Production Quality Manager will oversee quality systems, documentation, audits, vendor quality, CAPA management, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while rotating oversight across our three-company facility network.

Offered Salary: Rs. 55,000/- to Rs. 65,000/- p.m. (as per experience and skills)

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Quality Management, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

· 5-10 years of qualified experience in Quality Assurance within:

· Nutraceuticals and dietary supplements, Pharmaceuticals, Food manufacturing

· Proven expertise in establishing and maintaining QA/QC processes and quality management systems

· Strong understanding of nutraceutical and food safety regulations and documentation systems.

· Hands-on experience handling regulatory audits, certifications, and compliance matters Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies

Skills Preferred:

Candidates with hands-on experience in manufacturing or quality oversight of:

· Tablets and capsules

· Powders and sachets

· Gummies and soft gels

· Herbal supplements

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to walk through production facilities and inspect equipment, packaging lines,



and workstations

· Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, production equipment, and various materials

· Willingness to travel between facilities as required (estimated 30-40% of time)

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System (QMS) Development & Compliance

· Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems across all three manufacturing units and facilities

· Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards:

o FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) regulations o GMP / cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements o HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)

o [SO 22000 / FSSC 22000 standards o AYUSH regulations (where applicable)

· Export compliance requirements (USFDA, EU, and other international standards where applicable)

· Implement, review, approve, and maintain SOPs, specifications, protocols, and batch records

· Ensure data integrity and proper document control practices across all systems

2. Manufacturing & Process Quality Management

· Monitor and oversee in-process quality checks during manufacturing, packaging, and distribution operations

· Ensure strict adherence to formulation specifications and process control parameters

· Manage deviations, non-conformances, change controls, and conduct risk assessments

· Lead comprehensive investigations for product complaints, quality issues, and adverse events

· Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) management procedures

3. Laboratory & Testing Oversight

· Coordinate with 3rd party laboratory for raw material and finished goods testing

· Review analytical reports and ensure full specification compliance

· Oversee stability studies and establish retain sample management protocols

· Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment

4. Vendor & Raw Material Quality Management

· Approve, evaluate, and audit raw material vendors and contract manufacturers





· Ensure incoming material testing and compliance with quality specifications

· Manage vendor performance metrics and maintain approved vendor lists

5. Documentation & Regulatory Compliance

· Maintain comprehensive QA documentation, batch records, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs)

· Ensure proper batch release procedures and validation documents

· Prepare for and support internal and external regulatory audits and certifications

· Manage regulatory submissions and maintain compliance with evolving regulations

6. Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement

· Supervise and manage QA/QC staff, inspectors, and technicians across facilities

· Provide comprehensive training on quality standards, regulatory requirements, and food safety systems

· Foster a quality-first culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives

· Conduct performance reviews and manage personnel development

7. Multi-Facility Oversight & Coordination

· Rotate supervisory presence across three company facilities on a scheduled basis

· Ensure consistency in quality standards, practices, and SOP adherence across all locations

· Coordinate communication and best-practice sharing between facilities

· Travel as required to oversee facility operations and address facility-specific quality issues

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
