Job Description

This position is exclusively & solely with Seva Enterprise LLP and is based at our Ajmer location. The role requires full-time physical presence at our Ajmer office and does not offer any work-from-home or remote options.

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with hands-on expertise in application development, system integration, and modern programming practices. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing software development projects from requirement analysis to deployment and support. This role demands strong coding skills, problem-solving ability, and the willingness to work with diverse technologies and platforms.

Responsibilities:

Application Development

- Develop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Integration & API Development

- Develop and integrate APIs to connect applications and third-party services.

- Handle data synchronisation and integrations across multiple systems.

- Work with webhooks, REST APIs, and authentication mechanisms.

Database & Backend

- Design and optimize database queries

- Develop backend systems that support scalable applications.

Collaboration & Learning

- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Document code and technical processes.

- Stay updated with new technologies and continuously improve skills.

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in software development with hands-on coding.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or similar.

- Understanding of REST APIs, database design, and version control (Git).

- Strong logical reasoning and ability to write scripts and automation.

- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts.

- Mandatory hands-on coding experience – configuration-only or low-code experience does not qualify.

Good-to-Have (Preferred Skills)

- Experience with API integrations and third-party platform connections.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Understanding of micro services and system architecture.

- Exposure to multiple programming languages or tech stacks.

Requirements
Must-Have Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 4–5 years of experience working as a Zoho Developer (preferably in Zoho One environments). Strong command over Deluge scripting language and Zoho APIs. Proficiency in at least one core programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.). Deep understanding of Zoho CRM custom modules, layouts, blueprints, and workflows. Logical reasoning and structured thinking – must be able to handle complex automations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing requirements. Good-to-Have (Preferred Skills) Experience with function-based architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). Working knowledge of database design and SQL. Experience in low-code/no-code platforms outside Zoho. Familiarity with software engineering principles and design patterns. Knowledge about hardware integration in a Zoho context (e.g., IoT triggers via APIs). Creative thinker capable of “outside-the-box” problem-solving. Project/client management experience (nice to have at the upper end of the experience range).
