Job Description

Hours: Monday–Friday, up to 45 (some hours outside of this as required)
Work hours: GMT Shift, 3.30 pm to 12.30 am. It will be a fixed shift.
Location: Office 801, 8th Floor, Cerebrum IT Park – B3, Kalyani Nagar, Pune, 411014
Length: Permanent position, with six-month probation period

Valasys is looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor with expertise in motion graphics, video editing, camera operation, and visual design to join our agile creative team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in producing captivating content for digital media, managing end-to-end video projects, and transforming creative concepts into visual reality. A strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, design grammar,



and cinematic composition is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit videos of high quality for multiple platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, websites, etc.).
- Create custom motion graphics and visual effects to add value to video
- Shoot with cameras and achieve best frames, light effects, and sound
- Work with content writers, designers, and marketers to create visually engaging
- Achieve consistency in branding across all visual
- Manage video assets, backup footage, and version
- Own video projects from development to delivery within tight
- Streamline videos for various platforms and formats with smooth playback and mobile optimization.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in video, editing styles, and design

Software & Technical Skills: Video Editing & Motion Design:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Color grading tools (Lumetri Color, DaVinci Resolve – optional)
Design & Collaboration Tools:
- Figma – for visual design, UI layouts, and team collaboration (plus point)

Requirement for AI-based Services:

- Proficiency in AI-based video ideation and storytelling tools including:




- Hailuo AI – for creative concept development and visual ideation
- MidJourney – for generating high-quality, stylized visuals and imagery
- ai – for AI-generated assets and image composition
- Familiarity with AI language and content generation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai)

- Understanding of various AI models and their creative applications (e.g., GPT-4, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion)
- Ability to storyboard AI-assisted narratives and bring them to life with compelling visuals and audio
- Experience in creating AI-driven storytelling videos that combine live footage, motion graphics, and AI visuals
- Ability to conceptualize and produce AI-based podcasts, including visual podcast formats and voice enhancements through AI tools

Requirements:

- 3–4 years of experience working on professional video editing and
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Practical experience with camera handling (DSLRs/Mirrorless/Cinema Cameras).
- Excellent grasp of motion graphics and animation
- Familiarity with color grading, sound design, and video compression
- Good understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and visual
- Capacity to work on several projects at once and meet
- Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
- Portfolio that includes a variety of video projects, such as motion graphics and live- action shots.

Additional Requirements:

- Strong understanding in graphics design will be an additional advantage.
