Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Executive role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including daily bookkeeping, ledger postings, and reconciliations of bank statements and accounts.

The role includes preparing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, assisting with payroll processing, and ensuring timely payment of statutory dues. The Accountant will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and variance analysis. The position also involves coordinating with internal teams, external auditors,



and tax consultants, maintaining organized documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel, including spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance relevant to Indian accounting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and collaborate within a small, fast-paced team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; preferred professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a small or mid-sized organization, is desirable.
