Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Onsite Customer Support Engineer based in the Kolkata metropolitan area and the adjoining districts.

The Onsite Customer Support

Engineer will visit client locations to install, configure, and support HP Laptops, Desktops and Brother inktank as well as laser printers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with internal technical teams, and providing clear, timely updates to clients. The role involves managing service tickets, documenting issues and resolutions, training end users on basic system use,



and escalating complex problems when needed. The engineer will also contribute to preventive maintenance, collect user feedback, and support continuous improvement of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Support and Communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, simple language.
- Hands-on Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for web, hosting, networking basics, and related software or hardware issues.
- Field Service experience, including on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance at client premises.
- Valuable documentation and reporting abilities, including maintaining service logs and ticket updates.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and travel within the greater Kolkata metropolitan area as required.
- Relevant diploma or degree in IT Hardware & Networking, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a technical support or customer service role in IT or web services is an advantage.
