Senior Sales Manager – Nashik **Most agri sales teams in India are built to sell products.** We are building a demand engine for outcomes. At Bharat Intelligence, farmers don’t buy inputs. Not relationship-led. **Farmer-direct. Data-driven. Field-heavy. Execution-obsessed.** And we’re now building that engine in Nashik. --- ## Senior Sales Manager – Nashik (City Head – Demand) Location: Nashik (Field-first) Function: Demand / Growth Reporting: City CEO – Nashik --- ## What this role is This is not an agri sales role. This is a **market-building role.** You will own Nashik's demand end-to-end — farmer acquisition, conversion, revenue, and growth. You will build the entire sales system from scratch. No inherited pipeline. No legacy playbook. Just ground reality and execution. --- ## What you will build ### 1. Farmer Acquisition Engine You will design and run a multi-channel demand system:
- Field sales teams
- Inside sales
- WhatsApp funnels
- Referral loops
- Partner-led acquisition You will own:
- Top-of-funnel generation
- Lead qualification
- First booking conversion
- Farmer onboarding You will also design segmented plays for:
- Small farmers
- Mid-size growers
- Progressive farmers
- Export-oriented grape farmers --- ### 2. Channel Partnerships (Demand Unlock) You will open current demand channels through:
- FPOs
- Exporter networks
- Farmer influencers
- Agri communities
- Local associations
- Dealer networks (as referral partners, not resale channels) You will define:
- Partner economics
- Incentive structures
- Activation systems




- Performance tracking --- ### 3. Sales Team Building You will hire and scale a layered sales org.
- Field Executives
- Inside Sales Teams
- Farmer Success / Account Managers
- Cluster Leads You will run:
- Weekly quotas
- Daily huddles
- Pipeline reviews
- Monthly business reviews
- Quarterly planning This is a performance-first system. No vanity pipelines. No soft targets. --- ### 4. Funnel + Data Ownership You will treat sales like an engineered system. You will own:
- CRM hygiene
- Funnel conversion rates
- Cohort behaviour
- CAC by channel
- Lead velocity
- Booking efficiency Dashboards are not reporting tools. They are decision systems. --- ### 5. Farmer Retention & Growth You will drive:
- Repeat usage
- Wallet share expansion
- Cross-sell across services
- Key farmer management (high-value accounts)
- Win-back and recovery flows You will own the full lifecycle — not just acquisition. --- ### 6. Commercial Discipline You will operate within clear guardrails:
- Pricing discipline
- Discount control
- Booking limits during peak season
- Contribution margin tracking
- No overselling beyond operational capacity Revenue growth without execution quality is not acceptable. --- ## What success looks like
- Farmer base scales month-on-month
- Strong conversion from lead → booking




- High repeat usage across crop cycles
- Predictable sales funnels
- Clean CRM and forecasting accuracy
- Channel partners driving real, measurable demand
- Sales team productivity improving consistently
- Healthy contribution margins --- ## Who this is for This role is built for operators who have:
- 8+ years in high-growth, farmer-direct or SME-direct sales systems
- Built or scaled field + inside sales teams (30+ people)
- Worked in marketplaces, agritech, gig platforms, or managed services
- Deep understanding of funnels, CAC, CRM, and conversion systems
- Built channel partnerships from scratch (not inherited them)
- Strong fluency in Marathi and Hindi
- Comfortable working directly in farm environments --- ## Who this is NOT for
- Traditional agri-input / fertiliser / seeds / machinery distribution backgrounds
- Dealer / distributor / wholesaler-led sales careers
- Pure relationship-driven enterprise sales profiles
- Candidates weak in data, funnels, and CRM discipline
