Role Description This is a full-time, on-site High School Teacher role based at Excellent International School in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area.

The High School

Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, adapting instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, and providing timely feedback to learners and families. The teacher will maintain accurate records of attendance and academic progress, contribute to exam preparation, and participate in school events, meetings,



and professional development sessions. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, supporting classroom management and discipline in a fair and consistent manner, and fostering a protected, inclusive, and motivating classroom workplace.

Qualifications
Strong teaching and classroom instruction skills, with experience engaging high school students and managing diverse learning styles.
Proficiency in subject-specific instruction, preferably with expertise in Physics or related science disciplines.
Ability to design and implement effective lesson planning and assessment strategies aligned with curriculum standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for clear interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
Background in Education, with a bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject; a teaching certification or equivalent training is preferred.
Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and assessment.
