Job Overview

We are hiring a Sales Engineer based out of Solapur or Mumbai to drive business growth across the India. This role balances volume-based component sales through a solar Tenders. The ideal candidate will leverage Solapur Or Mumbai central location.

Key Responsibilities

Tender Sales & Bidding

- Tender Identification: Monitor and identify relevant solar tenders on portals like Mahatenders, GeM, SECI, MSEDCL, MEDA, and Goa Government e-Procurement, all over Indian states.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare, compile, and submit comprehensive technical and financial bid documents.
- Pre-bid Assistance: Attend pre-bid meetings to clarify technical queries and assess competitor landscapes.
- Liaisoning: Coordinate with government departments, consultants, and public sector undertakings (PSUs) throughout the evaluation cycle.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

- Degree: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical,



or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- Experience: 7 to 10 years of solar sales or business development experience.

Technical & Regional Competencies

- Policy Knowledge: Robust understanding of the Maharashtra State Solar Policy and net-metering regulations.
- Technical Design: Basic familiarity with solar simulation software and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is mandatory to effectively communicate with regional dealers and industrial clients.

Travel Requirements

- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%) out of Solapur or Mumbai to assigned territories in rest of India.

Note: Candidate should have experience in tender business of Solar panel and Solar Pump.
