Job Description – Centralised Infrastructure & Procurement Manager
1) Brief about the Position / Responsibilities:- The Centralised Infrastructure & Procurement Manager is responsible for end-to-end centre readiness, infrastructure setup, and centralised procurement across multiple GSLF training centres. The role ensures centres are safe, compliant, cost-efficient, and operationally ready to support high-quality learner outcomes.
2) Job Description
- Plan and execute infrastructure setup for new and existing centres with defined timelines and readiness milestones.
- Coordinate site preparation, minor civil/electrical works, fit-outs, branding, and centre handover.
- Create and maintain a standard Centre Readiness Pack (BoQ, layouts, vendor scope, acceptance checklist).
- Own centralised procurement of furniture, IT equipment, CCTV/surveillance, and training/workshop assets.
- Manage vendor empanelment, RFQs, comparative statements, rate contracts, negotiations, and PO lifecycle.
- Track deliveries, installations, post-installation issues, and vendor performance.
- Maintain asset registers, warranties, AMCs, invoices, and installation documentation.
- Publish MIS dashboards on spend vs budget, centre readiness, asset health, and vendor performance.
- Support audits, inspections, and donor/client reviews with complete documentation.
3) Reporting and Team
- Reporting to: Operations / Program Leadership (as per organization structure)
- Team: May manage procurement/infrastructure executives or site coordinators
- Works cross-functionally with centre teams, finance, IT, and vendors
4) Work Location & Language Spoken
- Work Location: Mumbai (Vikhroli west)
- Travel:
Frequent inter-city travel to centres
- Languages:
- English – Mandatory, Hindi – Mandatory and Regional language – Preferred
5) Skill Set
- Multi-site infrastructure and facilities management
- Work closely with Centre Managers, Programs, Finance, IT, and vendors; flag risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Centralised procurement operations (RFQ, rate contracts, PO management)
6) Grade & Salary
- Grade: Manager / Senior Manager (based on experience)
- Salary: As per organizational norms and experience (to be discussed during interview)
7) Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Facilities, Operations, Procurement, or related field
- Experience: 5–10 years in infrastructure, procurement, facilities, or multi-location operations
- Experience in
- centre rollouts / CSR / education or government projects
8) KPI / KRA
- Timely centre readiness and go-live with minimal rework
- Solid vendor negotiation and cost control
- Asset governance, documentation, and audit readiness
- MIS reporting and basic analytics
- Stakeholder coordination and on-ground problem-solving
- Procurement cost savings and value-for-money
- Vendor performance improvement (quality, timelines, compliance)
- Accuracy and completeness of asset registers and documentation
- Clean audit outcomes and compliance adherence
- Reduction in infrastructure-related escalations and delays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
