1) Brief about the Position / Responsibilities The Solar Trainer is responsible for delivering hands-on training on solar panel installation and maintenance to students. The trainer will ensure students are workplace-ready with both technical and soft skills by aligning the training with industry standards and employability goals.
2) Key Responsibilities:
- Train students on site assessment, installation prerequisites, and material arrangement.
- Demonstrate mounting, wiring, and installation of solar panels.
- Ensure post-installation system effectiveness.
- Develop workplace competencies in students.
- Motivate students for job placement.
- Conduct internal assessments and soft skills training.
- Prepare and submit MIS reports regularly.
- Maintain class discipline, attendance, and referrals for new batches.
3) Reporting and Team
- Reports To: Head of Department / Project Manager
- Team Structure: Will work closely with training coordinators, placement officers, and administrative staff.
4) Work Location & Language Spoken
- Location: Vikhroli West, Mumbai.
- Languages Required: Hindi, Marathi (preferred), and Basic English
5) Skill Set
- In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems and installation processes.
- Basic electrical wiring.
- Proficiency in training delivery methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust classroom management and motivational ability.
6) Grade & Salary
- Grade: As per company policy
- Salary: Competitive; based on experience and qualifications (typically aligned with industry standards for technical trainers)
7) Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy fields
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of relevant industry or training experience
