Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area (Hybrid).

The Video

Editor will handle the end-to-end editing process, including organizing raw footage, selecting clips, arranging timelines, and refining sequences to create engaging video content. Daily responsibilities include applying transitions, effects, and color adjustments, integrating text overlays and graphics, and synchronizing audio with video. The role also involves collaborating with designers and content creators to translate client briefs into compelling visual stories aligned with brand guidelines.

Editor will manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain organized file structures, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Must have 2 or 2+ years of experience
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with various formats, codecs, and platforms.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and visual enhancement to maintain consistent and high-quality look and feel.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, animations, and other visual elements.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar for motion graphics).
- Good understanding of sound design basics, including audio leveling, noise reduction, and music integration.
- Solid visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Ability to work on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is required.
